Fallon & Byrne in Dublin seeks a Kitchen Porter to support busy back-of-house teams and ensure smooth food preparation and service. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities within a renowned food destination.

You will assist in prep, cleaning, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean, sanitised workspace, contributing to a high-standard customer experience in our Foodhall, Wine Cellar, Dining Room and Ballroom.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable.
• Innovative in your approach and solution-focused.
• Empathetic leader with the ability to inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the food preparation process.
• Carrying out basic cleaning tasks as fast as possible.
• Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
• Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
• Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.
• Ensuring the storeroom remains organised.
• Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised.
