Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth in environmental and occupational services across Ireland. You will lead development, build relationships and secure profitable opportunities, collaborating with Operations and the Stack Emissions team in Naas.

The role focuses on identifying new markets, developing customer relationships, delivering tender submissions and achieving annual sales targets through proactive business development.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, marketing, telesales, business development or bids environments.
• Experience in construction, engineering, asbestos, compliance or related technical service sectors is advantageous.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office, databases and CRM systems.
• Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Strong follow-up, relationship building and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the environmental services offering across Ireland.
• Proactively prospect new clients and promote SOCOTEC's services, including Stack Emissions in Naas.
• Deliver growth targets for each service line and manage tender submissions.
• Build and manage client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Contribute to strategic sales campaigns, exhibitions and sales collateral.
• Collaborate with Operations and Stack Emissions teams to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor activity.
