Job summary

SOCOTEC UK Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Ireland's environmental and occupational services, including Occupational Hygiene, Water Hygiene, Asbestos, Noise Monitoring and Environmental Consultancy. The role supports the STACK Emissions service in Naas and focuses on profitable new contracts and cross-selling SOCOTEC-wide opportunities.

You will identify new markets, build customer relationships, and lead tender submissions while working with Operations

Qualifications

Experience in sales, marketing, telesales, business development or bids.
Background in construction, engineering, asbestos, or compliance sectors is advantageous.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, databases and CRM systems.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
Strong prioritisation and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Punctual, organised and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new markets for SOCOTEC’s environmental and occupational services in Ireland.
Lead competitive tender submissions and secure profitable new contracts.
Build strong relationships with new and existing customers and collaborate with Operations Managers and the sales team.
