Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Lead Fire Engineer / Business Growth Lead to own and grow a new fire safety business. The role focuses on strategic development, market entry, and proactive client acquisition with backing from two parent companies.

You will identify major fire safety projects, build key partnerships, and represent the firm at events and meetings. This position offers flexible home/office arrangements and nationwide travel to support growth in Ireland and the UK.

Qualifications

• Fire engineering qualification and background.
• Strong business development and client relationship skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with flexible home/office arrangements.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the company, taking ownership of business development and market strategy.
• Identify and secure new fire safety projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors, including the UK.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, clients and industry partners.
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and in networking opportunities.
• Oversee the delivery of fire engineering solutions, ensuring high-quality technical standards.
• Collaborate with directors on strategy, while maintaining operational independence to drive growth.
