Job summary

CoolPlanet Ltd in Ireland is seeking a high-impact commercial analyst to act as the CGO’s commercial wingman, turning growth strategy into a controlled programme of customer acquisition, contracted capacity, revenue and EBITDA growth. The role also enhances executive decision-making through rigorous analysis, reporting and cross-functional coordination.

The role combines commercial analysis, account and pipeline management, and project coordination to ensure opportunities are properly assessed

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and commercial skills with data, forecasts and business cases.
• Excellent Excel skills; build/maintain models, dashboards and trackers; PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong project coordination and follow-through with multiple stakeholders.
• Commercial judgement, curiosity and ability to challenge assumptions and escalate risks.
• Experience in energy, utilities, demand response, flexibility, generation or BESS.

Responsibilities

• Translate growth priorities into a practical action plan with milestones and owners.
• Maintain the accuracy and discipline of the growth pipeline including MW and capacity year.
• Coordinate weekly pipeline reviews, record decisions and chase actions through to completion.
• Develop account plans and support CGO with research, stakeholder maps and meeting briefs.
• Coordinate the cross-functional workflow from proposal to signed agreement.
• Prepare weekly growth dashboards and concise executive updates.
