Job summary

The Noel Group is partnering with a prestigious hospitality client in Cork to appoint a Group Operations Manager. This senior leadership role oversees the commercial and operational success of a multi-site restaurant group and will lead General Managers to drive performance and operational excellence.

Based in Cork, the successful candidate will shape strategy, monitor KPIs, manage costs, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across locations while guiding openings and major projects.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the commercial and operational performance of multiple restaurant locations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers while driving accountability for results.
• Manage sales performance, labour costs, productivity targets, and operational KPIs.
• Review location profitability and implement corrective action plans where required.
• Drive operational consistency, service standards, food quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead new restaurant openings, operational projects, and business improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, suppliers, equipment, and operational readiness.
• Oversee fleet management, utilities, insurance renewals, and operational contracts.
• Chair regular operations meetings and ensure action plans are completed on time.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to implement strategic business priorities.

• Experience leading General Managers and large operational teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects, opening new sites, and driving operational improvements.
• Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to turn strategy into measurable results.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
