Job summary

O'Hehirs Bakery & The Glasshouse Hotel in Ireland is seeking a Group HR Coordinator to own day-to-day HR admin across recruitment, engagement, compliance and reporting.

With around 1–2 years of HR experience (or a recent graduate), you will work across every part of the employee lifecycle and help push our people agenda both in-store and online. This is a hands-on role with room to grow within a friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment: shortlist, phone screens, interviews, ATS upkeep

• Pull together headcount and attendance reports across the group

We're looking for a Group HR Coordinator to work across both O'Hehirs Bakery & The Glasshouse Hotel to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day admin that keeps our HR function running smoothly - across recruitment, engagement, compliance, and reporting. It's a brilliant opportunity for someone with around 1-2 years' experience (or a recent graduate ready to dive in) to build a genuinely well-rounded foundation in HR, working across every part of the employee lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

Recruitment

• Shortlisting and phone-screening candidates
• Scheduling interviews and sitting in on them
• Posting job adverts and keeping our recruitment tracker and ATS up to date

Engagement

• Posting updates on LinkedIn and our other social platforms
• Shouting about the wins - promotions, big birthdays, retirements, awards, and everything in between
• Bringing fresh ideas for how we celebrate and connect as a business

Compliance

• Preparing letters - Promotions, confirmation of employment, pay rate changes
• Monitoring long-term sickness with care and consistency
• Supporting the team in staying on top of policy and documentation

Reporting

• Pulling together headcount reports across the group
• Managing clocking in/out adjustments
• Monitoring absence codes and tracking sickness and lateness trends

What We're Looking For

• Around 1-2 years' experience in an HR, recruitment, or admin role - or a recent graduate keen to build a career in HR
• A full drivers license
• A naturally curious mindset and genuine passion for people
• Sharp attention to detail - you catch the things others miss
• Confidence using social media platforms (LinkedIn experience a bonus)
• A professional, polished approach - you represent us well, in person and online
• Someone who's organised, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions
