RTÉ is Ireland’s national public-service media organisation. The Group Finance Director will lead RTÉ’s core finance function, overseeing financial control, reporting, planning, treasury, tax, audit and operations across the RTÉ Group from Dublin.

The role shapes financial strategy, drives transformation and long-term sustainability, working with the Leadership Team, Board and regulators. A top-tier accounting qualification and senior leadership track record are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) required.
• Senior leadership experience in a large, complex finance function.
• Broad expertise across reporting, control, treasury, tax, audit, governance, risk, budgeting and planning.
• Track record advising executive teams and boards with clear insights.
• Experience leading finance transformation and automation initiatives.
• Inclusive, resilient leadership capable of driving change across the organisation.

Aufgaben

• Develop and deliver financial strategy and long-term plan.
• Lead financial control, reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax, payroll and core finance operations.
• Provide clear analysis and performance reporting to the CFO, executive leadership, Board and committees.
• Maintain a strong control and assurance environment; ensure compliance with obligations.
• Modernise finance systems, processes and data capabilities for efficiencies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
