Job summary

RTÉ, Ireland's national public-service media organisation, seeks a Group Finance Director based in Dublin to lead the core finance function and shape financial strategy amid a five-year transformation. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee financial control, planning, treasury, tax, audit and operations across the RTÉ Group.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Senior leadership experience in a large finance function.
• Experience in financial reporting, governance, risk and planning.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO to develop RTÉ's financial strategy and transformation priorities.
• Lead financial control, reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax and payroll.
• Provide analysis and reporting to support strategy and resource allocation.
• Maintain strong controls and compliance with accounting, tax and regulatory obligations.
• Modernise finance systems and drive efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team and engage with auditors and stakeholders.
