Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland seeks an ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to lead month-end close, prepare consolidated reporting, and manage VAT compliance across group companies. You will coordinate with Financial Controllers and liaise with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
• Experience in month end close including journal posting.
• Experience in ROS, CSO, CRO returns.

• Results oriented with attention to detail and commitment to excellence

Responsibilities

• Consolidated cash forecast and reporting for debtors and creditors.
• Support GFC in implementing further consolidated group reporting and periodic preparation thereafter.
• Maintain strong collaboration with business unit Financial Controllers across the Group to meet group reporting deadlines.
• Produce monthly management accounts for group companies in a timely manner.
• Ensure Revenue, CSO and CRO compliance.
• Maintain VAT compliance.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for group companies.
• Engage with external Auditors for group companies.
• Liaise with tax advisors to meet group tax reporting obligations.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of consolidated cash forecast, debtors and creditors reporting
• Supporting GFC in the implementation of further consolidated group reporting and periodic preparation thereafter
• Maintaining strong collaborative relations with business unit Financial Controllers across the Group to support timely production of consolidated group reporting in line with group reporting deadlines
• Responsibility for timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts for group companies
• Responsibility for related Revenue, CSO and CRO compliance
• Maintaining related VAT compliance
• Preparation of annual budget and forecasts for group companies
• Preparation for and engagement with external Auditors for group companies
• Liaise with advisors to ensure group companies tax reporting obligations are met on time
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting

Requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant
• Previous experience in month end close including journal posting
