Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential developer delivering high-quality projects across Dundalk. This role offers a blend of office and site-based exposure, supporting multiple developments and learning from senior commercial staff.

You will assist in cost reporting, subcontractor administration, payment applications, variations, final accounts, and cost forecasting, with a focus on accuracy and lifecycle documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related construction discipline.
• Recent graduate welcomed; internships/desirable, graduates with no industry experience will be considered.
• Residential construction experience is desirable.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of project cost reports, valuations, and commercial documentation.
• Support the management and administration of subcontractor accounts.
• Assist in the preparation and assessment of subcontractor payment applications.
• Monitor project costs and help identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Assist with the preparation and agreement of variations and final accounts.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation.
• Liaise with site management teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Support monthly cost reporting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with procurement activities and subcontractor packages.
• Ensure commercial procedures and contractual requirements are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

A leading residential developer is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate to begin their career within a well-established and highly regarded developer delivering high-quality residential projects across Dundalk. The successful candidate will work closely with senior commercial staff, gaining exposure to all aspects of quantity surveying on residential construction projects. The role offers a combination of office and site-based experience, supporting the delivery of multiple residential developments throughout Dundalk.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of project cost reports, valuations, and commercial documentation.

Requirements

• Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial awareness skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full driving licence required.
