Job summary

Donegal County Childcare Committee is seeking a Graduate Lead Educator to plan and run a play-based daily program in line with Aistear and Siolta frameworks. You will monitor progress, maintain learning journals, and support each child’s holistic development.

You will also lead a team of educators, collaborate with the service manager, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and foster strong partnerships with parents to keep them informed about their child’s day.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must hold a minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Early Learning and Care (or an equivalent recognised qualification) that meets the DCEDIY Qualification Requirements for the Role of Graduate Lead Educator.
  • The qualification must appear on the current DCEDIY List of Early Years Recognised Qualifications, or applicants must provide a Letter of Eligibility from the DCEDIY confirming that their qualification meets the qualification requirements for the role of Graduate Lead Educator

Experience Required
