Job summary

A childcare organization in Ulster is seeking 4 Early Years Educators, both full-time and part-time. Candidates should have a recognized qualification in Early Years at Level 5 or higher and experience in childcare. Key responsibilities include ensuring the health and well-being of children and staff, planning activities, and maintaining records. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. This role also requires completion of First Aid training and familiarity with Siolta and Aistear guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed a First Aid course/manual handling.
  • Have a working knowledge of Siolta and Aistear.

Responsibilities

  • Report any concerns or issues to the Manager.
  • Be responsible for the health, safety and well-being of the children, staff and building.
  • Plan and organize activities in accordance with childcare guidelines.

Education

Early Years qualification at Level 5/6+

Job description

  • Ability to work to a timetable to complete all day to day tasks.
  • Ability to keep records, observe children and compile individual learning records.
