Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Senior TPM Manager to lead a team of TPMs and PGMs to deliver cross-cutting programs that advance Risk's mission. You will hire, coach, and grow a team of excellent TPMs while contributing hands-on leadership on the most complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience of varying seniority, including managing managers.
• 8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program management experience.
• Extensive experience in finding and growing talent through coaching, mentoring, and career development conversations
• Experience driving technical programs from ideation to delivery at scale and leading teams of Technical Program Managers who have done the same
• Experience operating autonomously and leading across multiple teams, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and manage high-performing teams, managers, and individuals, across multiple locations, including providing performance reviews, continual feedback, and career growth.
• Define and deliver on long-term vision and multi-year strategy for company-wide programs collaborating with product management and engineering leadership/executives.
• Define success criteria, delivery plans, track risks, and ensure successful execution of Risk's most complex programs.
• Make substantial improvements to how the teams you work with communicate and operate to significantly increase the productivity and efficiency of the teams.
