Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Technical Program Manager leader to guide a team of TPMs and PGMs in delivering cross-cutting risk programs. You will hire, coach, and grow a high-performing team while hands-on guiding the most complex initiatives.

The role requires managing managers, shaping long-term strategy, and collaborating with product management and engineering leadership across multiple time zones to maintain Stripe's position as a trusted network in fintech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience including managing managers.
• 8+ years in software engineering or technical product/program management.
• Experience coaching and growing talent.
• Experience driving technical programs from ideation to delivery.
• Ability to operate across multiple teams and time zones.
• Strong critical thinking and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and manage high-performing teams across locations.
• Define and deliver long-term vision and multi-year strategy for company-wide programs.
• Define success criteria, delivery plans, track risks, ensure execution of complex programs.
• Improve team communication and operation to boost productivity and efficiency.
