Job summary

Stripe looks for a senior Risk Partnerships professional to collaborate with global banks and financial networks. The role focuses on managing risk across payment, treasury, and multi-currency fund flows while enabling Stripe to store funds securely and move money internationally.

You will work with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance) and external partners to align on risk strategies, drive initiatives, and maintain strong relationships that support Stripe’s payments platform

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in risk-related role at a bank or fintech
• Deep knowledge of bank payment schemes and networks (e.g. FPS, BACs, SEPA, ACH)
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to represent Stripe on risk, compliance, and product issues with banking partners
• Experience navigating cross-border, multi-jurisdictional risk environments

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-focused initiatives with global financial partners to foster new business and align on risk methods
• Oversee health of relationships with partner banks and key risk counterparts
• Develop and manage projects that support strong risk-enabled partnerships
• Deliver policy recommendations that inform Stripe’s risk posture
• Negotiate and advocate Stripe’s risk approach with banking partners
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams on risk activities
• Identify opportunities to expand product and user base through banking partnerships
