Job summary

Concern Worldwide is seeking an Adviser in the Strategy Advocacy and Learning Department to support organisational learning through knowledge creation and sharing. You will manage a substantial research portfolio, work with external researchers and country programmes, and help coordinate reflective learning across the organisation.

The role requires a postgraduate research-based degree, strong English, and proven research coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a multidisciplinary field related to development or a technical area Concern works in.
• Strong written English with evidence likely requested in interview.
• Excellent analytical and research skills; experience with mixed methods.
• Experience commissioning and managing research projects is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills; able to work cross-functionally.
• Desirable language skill: French.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, coordination and day-to-day management of Concern’s research portfolio.
• Secretariat function to the research committee and support for research approvals.
• Coordinate with MEL and Global Officer Programme Knowledge & Learning on knowledge creation and transfer.
• Support APPR process and country programme reviews for learning insights.
• Produce and operationalise the organisational Research Policy.
• Coordinate meta-evaluations and dissemination of findings to senior management and the Board.
• Support research projects with Masters’ students and cross-organisational learning needs.
