Job summary

Concern Worldwide in Dublin 2 is seeking a Learning Manager to lead organisation-wide learning and development initiatives on a 9-month maternity cover, with a 50% hybrid arrangement in our Dublin office. You will design, develop and deliver programmes to ensure staff have the skills needed now and for the future.

You will manage a small team, oversee the Global Training Calendar and e-learning delivery, and build partnerships with learning institutions and providers.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or experience in Learning and Development, HRM or similar.
• Significant experience managing people development programmes, with international experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, motivate and challenge a learning team to deliver accessible learning.
• Solution-focused with creative thinking.
• Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Empathy and understanding of Concern’s values and goals.
• Experience with Totara LMS and Articulate Storyline desirable.
• Fluency in written and spoken French desirable.
• Experience in the INGO sector desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of two: Learning Administrator and Digital Learning Designer.
• Lead design and delivery of learning and development initiatives in line with the Strategic Plan.
• Oversee the Global Training Calendar, bilingual delivery in French and English.
• Administer the e-learning environment and content development.
• Design and deliver onboarding initiatives virtually, online and in person.
• Build partnerships with learning institutions, private organisations and language providers.
• Collaborate with managers to tailor learning interventions.
• Monitor activity against performance indicators and refine initiatives.
