Job summary

Global Account Manager - HVAC/Cooling in Ireland is a high-profile commercial role with global responsibility. You will own strategic pharmaceutical accounts across international markets, working with major manufacturers and engineering partners to influence projects from early stages through delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8-12+ years in B2B or key account management, with experience managing multinational accounts and a technical background in mechanical/building services engineering.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years' experience in B2B sales, strategic sales or key account management.
• Experience managing multinational or global customers.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleanrooms, HVAC or regulated environments.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop strategic global pharmaceutical accounts across multiple regions and markets.
• Act as the primary commercial contact at corporate, regional and site levels.
• Develop and execute multi-year global account plans, including growth targets and opportunity strategies.
• Identify and influence pharmaceutical projects at an early stage to ensure solutions are specified.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers, EPCs, consultants and industry influencers.
• Coordinate international sales teams and internal stakeholders to deliver a consistent global account strategy.
• Develop framework agreements, preferred supplier relationships and global pricing strategies.
• Lead and support complex, high-value bids and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor pharmaceutical market trends and identify emerging customer requirements and opportunities.
• Translate customer challenges into technically and commercially compelling HVAC and clean-air solutions.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines and account information within CRM systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related technical discipline
