Lever, Inc. is seeking a Global Payroll Implementation Country Lead based in Ireland.

This leadership role focuses on delivering successful payroll implementations for international clients, combining deep local payroll knowledge with project leadership in a fully remote, asynchronous environment. You will guide projects from handover and discovery through parallel runs and first live payroll, while partnering with customers and internal teams to ensure readiness for ongoing operations and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in payroll, especially in client or managed payroll environments.
• Expert knowledge of Dutch payroll legislation, regulations, processes, and local requirements.
• Proven experience leading or delivering payroll implementations, ideally across international or multi-country environments.
• Strong proficiency with payroll systems and technology; practical experience using SAP, Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Act as the payroll subject matter expert for the Netherlands and advise on local processes and requirements.
• Lead global payroll implementation projects from inception to first live payroll.
• Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and priorities.
• Communicate payroll decisions, issues, and actions clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Establish standardized payroll processes and documentation for consistent delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Mentor Payroll Generalists and collaborate with wider teams.
• Work with product/tech teams on platform improvements and release support.
