Job summary

Glanbia is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead accurate, compliant payroll across multiple jurisdictions outside North America, with overall accountability for payroll operations. The role requires strong leadership and stakeholder management within HR, Finance, employees and external providers.

Based in Ireland with a hybrid working arrangement, you will develop a team of Payroll Specialists, drive process improvements, audits and system optimisations while maintaining governance and risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in payroll management in a multi-jurisdiction environment.
• Proven leadership experience with coaching and performance management.
• IPASS or equivalent payroll qualification.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Payroll Specialists to deliver KPIs and service standards.
• Oversee multi-jurisdiction payroll delivery, ensuring compliance with local laws.
• Manage end-to-end payroll operations across jurisdictions: data, validation, calculations, approvals, reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Finance for accurate payroll journals and month-end close.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and year-end processes.
• Lead payroll-related projects, system improvements and governance enhancements.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and remediation.
• Provide expert payroll guidance to HR, Finance and employees.
