Job summary

Crown is seeking a proactive Learning & Development Officer to own the day-to-day L&D function across Crown. Based at Roundwood HQ, this hybrid role involves coordinating training, developing practical learning plans and tracking progress.

You’ll work with HR and site managers, travel regularly to project sites across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe to implement development plans and ensure staff have the required skills and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Learning & Development, Training, HR or a similar role.
• Experience identifying learning needs and supporting development plans.
• Experience coordinating training activities and programmes.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to project sites across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.

Responsibilities

• Drive Learning & Development: Identify skills gaps and establish development priorities.
• Implement development plans: visit project sites and roll out training initiatives.
• Plan for Growth: develop annual L&D plan and learning pathways.
• Coordinate Training: organise internal and external training and manage logistics.
• Manage Training & Compliance: maintain records and coordinate renewals.
• Track Progress & Results: monitor plans and report using Excel and HR systems.
• Partner with Managers: build relationships and ensure agreed actions.
• Support Employee Development: onboarding, inductions, apprenticeships and more.
• Continuously Improve: research new learning solutions and improve processes.
