Job summary

European Investment Bank seeks a Head of Business Applications & Engineering Division in Luxembourg to lead the evolution of business applications, integration platforms and software engineering. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, shape the digital agenda and set engineering standards to deliver secure, scalable digital solutions at scale for the Bank and its communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years leading delivery and operations of business-critical applications.
• Proven leadership across multiple technology teams in international environments.
• Experience shaping demand, roadmaps and investments with business stakeholders.
• Experience across full software lifecycle from architecture to retirement.
• Knowledge of modern integration, cloud, APIs and enterprise patterns.
• Excellent English; French would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Division's portfolio of bespoke business applications and alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Define and drive integration strategy for secure, scalable platforms.
• Build and lead software engineering enablement through standards and shared platforms.
• Develop the Division's management team and leadership capabilities.
• Ensure delivery, budget, and lifecycle management for applications and services.
• Promote DevSecOps, automation, observability and continuous service improvement.
