Job summary

European Investment Bank in Luxembourg is seeking a Transaction Processing Officer to join the Special Lending operations team. You will handle end-to-end loan transactions and contribute to automation, data analytics and DLT initiatives in a high‑volume environment.

The role blends financial operations with data skills, requiring collaboration with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data functions to drive an automated, resilient and scalable back office.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Math, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Middle or Back Office of a financial institution.
• Strong data skills and experience with datasets and dashboards.
• Excellent English and French with knowledge of another EU language an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end processing of lending portfolio transactions.
• Ensure timely confirmations, settlements and lifecycle event management.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs for performance and risk.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams on initiatives.
