Job summary

ICON plc, a leading global contract research organization, seeks an ambitious Internal Auditor to join its global internal audit team. Reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager, you will conduct risk-based audits, perform SOX testing, and contribute to governance and risk assurance reviews.

The role involves global audits with up to 15% travel, work in a hybrid office setting in Leopardstown, Dublin 18, and collaboration with a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Qualified or working towards ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent.
• Strong IT skills and experience with data analytics to support audit work.
• Two years of audit experience; multinational or listed-company experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support risk-based internal audit assignments across ICON's global divisions.
• Perform SOX testing and document results.
• Draft audit findings and support root-cause analysis and action plans.
• Follow up on management actions and document remediation testing.
