Job summary

ICON plc, a leading global CRO, seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to join the global internal audit team in a hybrid office setting in Leopardstown, Dublin 18. You will lead risk-based audits, manage SOX testing, and drive improvements in governance and controls.

The role requires professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent) and at least three years of audit experience, with exposure to multinational environments. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least three years of internal or external audit experience.
• Experience in a multinational or listed-company environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based internal audits across ICON’s global divisions, from planning to reporting and follow-up.
• Manage SOX testing and reporting requirements across global divisions.
• Lead walkthroughs and risk assessments with process owners and assess controls.
