Job summary

Rippling, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Consultant for the UK and Ireland on a 3‑month independent contractor basis.

You will support our Employer of Record service, guiding clients through onboarding to offboarding while addressing employee relations, claims, and compliance challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine workflows for hiring, onboarding, transitions, and compliance, ensuring Rippling delivers a seamless HR solution across borders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR advisory, consulting, or internal HR experience covering employment and labor law.
• Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland employment regulations.
• Experience with employee claims (unemployment benefits, disability/leave, workers' comp, grievances).

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations and regulatory risk across multi-country operations.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance to configure and test HR workflows.
• Respond to client and employee inquiries and develop HR resources and policies.
• Train internal HR Advisors on country-specific requirements.
• Design scalable HR processes and SOPs for leave, performance, investigations, and benefits.
• Serve as POA for legal entities and ensure compliance with local employment laws.
