Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Shannon is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join the Cross Trade Operations team. You will manage international shipments across air, ocean, and road freight from booking to final delivery, ensuring visibility and proactive communication for customers.

The role requires coordination, problem-solving and excellent customer service in a fast-paced, international environment, with a focus on delivering reliable service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding within Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and road freight operations.
• Experience managing international shipments and using freight systems.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Provide end-to-end visibility across the supply chain.
• Ensure activities align with service levels, KPIs and cost parameters.
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates to customers.
