Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics seeks a Business Development Manager – Air & Sea in Dublin/Blanchardstown to drive freight-forwarding growth with strategic customers.

You will build a strong pipeline, secure new business, and coordinate with Tender Management and Product teams to craft competitive proposals. You will meet clients, capture needs, and maintain CRM records in Microsoft Dynamics while ensuring policy, quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning and closing new business within freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Air and/or Sea freight solutions.
• Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at different levels.
• Commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills.
• A proactive, self-driven approach with a focus on results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new Air & Sea freight business, focusing on long-term strategic customers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline, delivering against agreed sales targets.
• Establish and grow relationships with key importers and exporters across the region.
• Work closely with Tender Management and Product teams to create competitive, customer-focused proposals.
• Meet customers regularly, understand their needs, and provide market and competitor insights.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), including leads, meetings, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality, and health & safety standards.
