Job summary

Fortis Recruitment is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a busy multinational finance team in Dublin. The role covers multi-entity finance, month-end close, reporting and intercompany reconciliations, with a proactive, detail‑driven approach.

You will leverage strong technical accounting knowledge, Excel and finance systems, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support forecasts, audits and year‑end processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA designation
• 2+ years PQE
• Experience working across multiple entities
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Good financial systems and Excel skills
• Multinational experience advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisation and time management
• Proactive and self motivated approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the finance function across multiple entities
• Oversee month end close and financial reporting
• Review P&L and balance sheet activity
• Complete balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
• Manage cash flow and financial forecasting
• Coordinate audits and statutory accounts
• Oversee tax and statutory compliance
• Work closely with internal finance teams
• Support payroll and accounting queries
• Partner with operational teams on financial matters
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Assist with financial projects and ad hoc work
