Job summary

Accountancy & Business Personnel Ltd. in Dublin seeks an experienced Accountant to join the finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will contribute to accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance and financial analysis. You will manage month-end close, prepare management accounts and group reporting packages, and oversee budgets, forecasts, fixed assets, audits and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) with strong financial reporting and management accounting experience.
• Experience in a commercial finance environment and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close processes for timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and margin reporting.
• Produce group reporting packages and annual budgets/forecasts.
• Oversee fixed asset records and asset-related reporting.
• Support statutory accounts, audits, and tax compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors and supervise junior staff.
