Job summary

ACCPRO, on behalf of a top-tier global insurance company, is recruiting a Project Accountant to support a finance transformation project establishing two new international entities in Dublin City Centre.

The role focuses on designing and implementing new accounting and financial reporting processes, delivering Group and local IFRS reporting, and ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 where applicable; the contract runs 6-9 months with a €500 daily rate, 3 days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 3+ years post-qualified experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Solid understanding of IFRS; IFRS 17 experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of accounting and financial reporting processes for newly established legal entities.
• Prepare and deliver Group and local IFRS reporting requirements.
• Develop reporting templates, reconciliations, financial controls and supporting documentation.
• Produce technical accounting memos documenting financial impacts and accounting treatments.
• Assist with the preparation of IFRS financial statements and year-end disclosures.
• Prepare management reporting packs and finance committee materials.
• Participate in end-to-end testing of finance systems, processes and reporting outputs.
• Support the development of reporting frameworks for Bermuda regulatory reporting.
• Define and implement validation checks, reconciliations and internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors and the wider project team to ensure operational readiness.
• Contribute to ad hoc finance and project initiatives as required.
