Job summary

Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security, seeks a Senior Collections Manager to own global collections forecasting, cash performance, and credit-policy compliance. You will lead a distributed team, drive forecasting models, and partner with Finance, Sales, and Legal to optimize the collections lifecycle.

The role measures success by forecast accuracy, aging watchlist quality, and scalable coverage. This is an in-office Cork-based opportunity within a US-headquartered tech company with EMEA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional credit or accounting qualification is a plus.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Credit & Collections or AR management, including people-management experience, preferably within a fast-paced technology or SaaS company.
• Demonstrated mastery of AR/collections metrics: DSO, aging, and how collections performance flows to cash and the financials.

Responsibilities

• Weekly & Quarterly Collections Forecasting.
• Own the weekly collections forecast: against the quarterly benchmark, identifying variances and driving corrective action across regions.
• Build and maintain forecasting models for cash-flow decisions, including gross/net views and disti-level detail.
• Reconcile forecast to actuals and partner with Accounting on cash application and adjustments.
• Credit Policy, Risk & Compliance oversight to ensure policy adherence.
• Own Global Aging Report cadence and the credit watchlist, flagging at-risk accounts.
• Lead and develop a global collections team spanning multiple regions.
• Design and defend the coverage model with data on accounts per FTE and aging-weighted load.
• Own headcount and backfill planning for the collections team, coordinating with Recruiting.
• Deliver clear collections and cash performance reporting to Finance and Sales leadership.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Legal, and Renewals to resolve billing disputes.
• Govern data integrity across NetSuite and Salesforce.
