Prospects is seeking an experienced credit leader to head its collections team across Ireland and the UK. You will manage a 4-person squad, drive cash collection, assess risk, and optimize working capital while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales and Customer Service to set targets, negotiate with key customers, and streamline processes for improved cash flow and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Proven leadership of a credit/collections team within a sizeable organisation.
• Track record of improving overdue debt and cash collection metrics.
• Balance customer relationships with credit exposure using sound judgement.

• Own day-to-day credit management and lead a 4-person team.
• Set collection targets and accountability across the team.
• Improve cash conversion through overdue balances management.
• Assess customer exposure and credit facilities/trading terms.
• Lead negotiations on significant overdue accounts and disputes.
• Provide visibility on debtor performance, risks and priorities.
• Contribute to cash flow projections and bad debt assessment.
• Review systems/workflows to reduce manual admin and improve collection.
• Oversee invoicing and payment processes via EDI and portals.
• Maintain consistent credit policies, controls and escalation procedures.
