Job summary

Cognex Corporation in Europe seeks a Credit and Collections Manager, EMEA to lead credit, collections and cash application across the region. You will drive cash collection performance, manage risk, and coordinate global OTC processes with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, 7+ years in AR/Collections, and proficiency in English with German language skills. Hybrid work is offered with remote flexibility up to two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of people-management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English; German language skills required (professional working proficiency).
• Experience coordinating month-end close within a multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Credit, Collections and Cash Application teams across the EMEA region.
• Drive cash collection performance and reduce DSO across portfolios.
• Manage cash application, unapplied cash and remittance queries; ensure accuracy.
• Oversee credit risk assessments, limit approvals and risk mitigation.
• Escalate complex issues to senior management and coordinate cross-functional actions.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities and ensure SOX-compliant controls.
• Provide regular reporting on portfolio performance and risk metrics.
• Champion continuous improvement and automation in OTC processes.
