Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Senior Collections Manager to own global collections forecasting, cash performance, and credit-policy compliance. You will lead a distributed, multinational team, defend forecasting models, and partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to minimize bad debt while ensuring accurate reporting.

The role emphasizes building scalable models, maintaining aging watchlists, and driving cash-flow improvements across regions, including India and the US, with in-office Dublin presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Credit & Collections or AR management, including people-management experience.
• Demonstrated mastery of AR/collections metrics: DSO, aging, and how collections performance flows to cash and the financials.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to build scalable, auditable forecasting models.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own weekly and quarterly collections forecasting against benchmarks.
• Build and maintain forecasting models for cash-flow decisions with gross/net views.
• Reconcile forecast to actuals and coordinate with Accounting on cash application and adjustments.
• Ensure collections practices comply with Global Credit & Bookings Policy.
• Own the Global Aging Report cadence and the credit watchlist.
• Partner with Sales and Legal on collection strategy for at-risk accounts.
• Lead a global collections team across regions, ensuring workload balance.
• Design and defend the coverage model with data on accounts per FTE and aging-weighted load.
