Job summary
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a seasoned GIS Consultant to support major infrastructure projects across planning, environmental assessment, and land access phases. You will develop digital geospatial solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality maps and web GIS outputs.
The role emphasizes ArcGIS Pro/Online, Field Maps, Survey123 and QGIS expertise, with opportunities to mentor staff and advance GIS methodologies in a dynamic engineering environment.
Qualifications
- Degree Level 8+ in GIS or geospatial systems.
- Advanced proficiency in ESRI tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online) and QGIS.
- Strong skills in geodatabase design, spatial analysis, web mapping, and publishing to Portal for ArcGIS.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality maps, figures and spatial outputs for reports and presentations.
- Design, configure and maintain web mapping applications using ArcGIS Online.
- Enable mobile data collection for field crews using ESRI Field Maps and Survey123.
- Develop custom GIS workflows, automate data processes, and drive spatial analytics innovation.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to GIS methodologies and best practices.
