Job summary

WSP Land in Ireland seeks an Assistant Land Consultant to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects. You will work with senior consultants across land referencing, GIS, and stakeholder engagement to deliver accurate land-related outcomes.

You will undertake land referencing, maintain records, use ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, and participate in meetings and public consultations. This hybrid Dublin-based role offers CPD via Land Academy and opportunities toward professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography, Land/Estate Management, Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Strong data management and QA checking experience.
• Familiarity with Tailte Éireann and/or Land Registry.
• Good understanding of spatial and surveying needs.
• Experience with GIS mapping and cadastral overlays.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to travel.
• Excellent communication with landowners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Undertake land referencing, Tailte Éireann searches and investigations.
• Maintain secure landowner records in project databases.
• QA checks on land referencing data and plots.
• Use GIS to create and quality-check spatial outputs.
• Manage land referencing information in the project CD Environment.
• Travel across Ireland to site visits and engagement.
• Assist in securing land rights and Heads of Terms.
• Support statutory land acquisition processes.
• Attend meetings and public consultation events.
• Participate in Land Academy and pursue accreditation.
• UK and Ireland travel.
