Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical support, storage engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in German and English with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of storage technologies, including RAID,SRDF, LREP, iSCSI, distributed workloads, networking, SAN infrastructure, and virtualization platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise-class storage systems and troubleshooting complex storage environments.
• Familiarity with modern containerized environments and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer-focused mindset and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support for Dell PowerMax storage solutions – via phone, web, chat or email.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, configuration, and performance-related issues.
• Leverage advanced troubleshooting methodologies and tools to identify root causes.
• Support a broad range of storage technologies and customer environments including SAN, replication, RAID.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to resolve escalations and drive improvements.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and primary point of contact for customers.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and ongoing support readiness.
