Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a German-Speaking Senior Technical Support Engineer to join the Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS) team in Ireland. The role focuses on high-profile enterprise and government customers, handling complex issues with strong technical knowledge and customer service excellence.

You will troubleshoot, document, and resolve technical problems across installation, operation, and configuration contexts, while collaborating with global teams to deliver timely solutions and training

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with two or more of VMware, Linux, Enterprise Networking, Backup/Archiving.
Fluency in German and English with strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and independently; analytical and customer-focused.
Vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

Handle open cases via phone, email and online channels.
Identify and interpret interoperability and support matrices; deliver training and service enhancements.
Maintain closed-loop communications about issue status.
Share knowledge and assist junior engineers on complex cases.
Contribute to databases and escalate as needed to senior resources.
