Job summary

Apleona GmbH in Dublin City is seeking General Operatives to perform general cleaning and facilities maintenance across the building and related areas.

The role involves cleaning offices, kitchens, toilets, and public spaces, operating basic cleaning machinery, and assisting with housekeeping tasks. A valid driving licence is essential, with a 40-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance within a mobile/multi-site environment.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience managing time-sensitive workloads across multiple locations.
• Competent in using landscaping machinery and equipment.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices in live environments.
• Full clean driving licence (essential).
• Garda Vetting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, and toilets.
• Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls; sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and floor surfaces; dust furniture and vacuum carpets.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; replenish supplies.
• Organise necessary supplies for cleaning facilities; report and store lost and found items.
• Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere; undertake routine duties as requested.

At Apleona we are always on the lookout for dynamic and talent individuals , Currently we are recruiting for GeneralOperatives in Dublin City

Shift PatternMonday - Sunday 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, and toilets
• Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings. and floor polishing.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required
• Organise necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilities
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators
• Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas.
• General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control.
• Working at heights.and cleaning of windows, gutters, and roof.
• Working with machinery, such as boom and or scissor lifts
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes.
• Report and store lost and found items. and provide basic information on facilities.
• Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Undertake other routine tasks such as power hosing forecourt and dealing with recycling
• Undertake any other duties as requested.
