SAP Landscapes is seeking a General Operative to join our Carrickmacross/Ballyboughal staff in Ireland. Immediate start, full-time hours, and a clear path for progression within a growing company.

You will perform duties such as lawn care, shrub and hedge pruning, tree maintenance, weed control, litter removal and basic paving. Safety and teamwork are core to our approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Safe Pass preferred.
• Provisional or Full Driving Licence preferred.
• Experience in landscaping or related work desirable.
• B+E Licence / Tractor experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic General Operator to join our Carrickmacross/Ballyboughal staff. Immediate start.

Position:General Operative

Reporting to:Maintenance Contracts Manager

Location:Ardee / Carrickmacross

This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with your role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.

This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.

Duties Include:

• Lawn care - mowing, strimming and edging.
• Shrub and hedge pruning and maintenance.
• Tree maintenance.
• Weed control and herbicide application.
• Litter and debris collection.
• Seeding and turfing of lawns.
• Paving/light civil works.
• Tree and shrub planting.
• Ad hoc duties.

Responsibilities:

• Adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.
• Adhering to clients site rules and regulations in general and in relation to Health and Safety.
• Follow instructions provided by management and your site Team leader.
• Work as part of a team to ensure quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard.
• Work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.

Package:

• €15.00 per hour (DOE)

• General Hours: 06:30am - 16.15 (weekdays)
• Working day may vary due to season. Summer = 9 hours per day. Winter = 7 hours per day
