SAP Landscapes is seeking a General Operative to join our team at Belfield, South Dublin. The role involves hands-on lawn care, shrub and hedge maintenance, tree care, weed control, seeding, paving and related duties in a busy landscape environment.

You will work under the Maintenance Contracts Manager, adhering to safety, site rules and quality standards while supporting efficient, high-quality project delivery. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Safe Pass is essential.
• Full driving licence preferred.
• B+E licence or tractor experience is an advantage.
• Previous experience/knowledge in a similar landscape/maintenance role desirable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
• Follow site rules and management instructions.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high standard workmanship efficiently.
• Perform lawn care, pruning, tree maintenance and related duties as required.
• Assist with ad hoc duties and participate in training opportunities.

This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with your role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.

This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.

Duties Include

• Lawn care – mowing, strimming and edging.
• Shrub and hedge pruning/maintenance.
• Tree maintenance.
• Weed control and herbicide application.
• Litter and debris collection.
• Seeding and turfing of lawns.
• Paving/light civil works.
• Tree and shrub planting.
• Ad hoc duties.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.
• Adhering to clients site rules and regulations in general and particularly in relation to Health and Safety.
• Follow instruction provided by management and your site Team Leader.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ensure all work completed is to a high standard as expected by SAP Landscapes.
