Job summary

Glanmore Foods in Blanchardstown, Dublin, is seeking a General Operative to join a busy production team. You will be task focused with high standards and contribute to delivering world class food & service for our schools.

This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week, Saturday to Thursday and will only be required to work in line with the academic calendar. Key responsibilities include quality checks, cleaning and maintaining packing areas, recording critical control points on HACCP,

Qualifications

• Experience in a food production environment.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Experience in packaging or preparation within food production.

Responsibilities

• Quality check product as per standard operating procedures.
• Clean and maintain food packing areas and goods outward.
• Record critical control points and daily/weekly checks on HACCP system.
• Support goods outward products loaded onto fleet in the correct order.
• Be well organised with a professional attitude towards duties.
• Ensure final product meets quality standards.
• Complete daily checks and report defects to line manager.
• Comply with PPE and health and safety protocols.
• Report sickness, annual leave and other relevant processes.
• Participate in the Performance Management process to support team goals.

As a General Operative at our Blanchardstown, you will be a member of a highly efficient production team. You will be task focused with high standards! You will be a key member of the team to deliver world class food & service for our schools.

This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week, Saturday to Thursday and will only be required to work in line with the academic calendar.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Check product as per standard operating standard
• Cleaning & maintaining food packing area’s & goods outwards
• Recording critical control points and daily/weekly checks on our online HACCP management system.
• Responsible for supporting for goods outwards products loaded onto fleet in the correct order.
• Well organised and have a professional attitude towards required duties.
• Responsible for ensuring final product meets the quality standard
• Complete daily checks and reporting any defects to your line manager.
• Comply with Company policy and procedure in wearing PPE and following required health and Safety protocols.
• Comply with required policy and procedure in reporting sickness, requesting annual leave and any other relevant process.
• Participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's goals

About You

• Previous experience pack and or preparation within a food production environment.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
• Experience in a similar environment (not essential)
