Job summary

Queally Group is seeking a Production team member to support daily targets and ensure quality during food production. The role requires teamwork, accuracy in data recording, and adherence to HACCP and health & safety standards.

Candidate should be proactive, flexible, and able to communicate effectively in English. Note that some travel may be required and eligibility to work in Ireland is assumed.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months in a FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

  • Meet daily production targets on output, waste, yield, efficiency, and start-up time as a team.
  • Accurately record production data on relevant sheets at set frequencies.
  • Ensure quality tests are completed and traceability details are recorded.
  • Manage tools, probes, and machine parts, report misplaced items.
  • Maintain food safety requirements and comply with procedures.
  • Keep the work area and machines tidy, safe, and hygienic.
  • Operate equipment per training and approved SOP.
  • Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
  • Suggest improvements to evolving processes.
  • Adhere to quality standards and get it right first time.
  • Inform line manager of maintenance issues identified.
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
  • Be flexible to meet orders, including line downtime scenarios.

Production

Job Purpose

To support the business in achieving its daily targets

Reports To

Shift Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet daily production targets on output, waste, yield, efficiency, start-up time by working as part of a team
  • Accurately record all production data on the relevant sheets provided at set time frequencies (such as downtime, waste, process sheets, non-conformances etc.)
  • Ensure that all quality tests are completed as per protocols and all traceability details are carried out in line with systems requirements
  • Control and responsibility of all items within the area such as production tools, probes, machine parts in line with metal procedures and other such foreign matter procedures in place. Replacing when required and reporting of items if misplaced
  • Carry out all tasks to ensure that food safety requirements are achieved
  • Maintain the work area and machines in a tidy / safe / hygienic manner
  • Operate all equipment in accordance with training provided and approved SOP
  • Follow all hygiene and safety procedures
  • Offer suggestions / new initiatives to a changing / developing process
  • Work within the quality standards as set out by the business
  • Ensure all products are produced and packed to company / customer specification and on the ‘get it right first time’ motto
  • Inform line manager of any maintenance issues identified
  • Communicate with other members of staff to ensure continuous supply of materials to the production line to ensure uninterrupted stoppages to the process
  • Be flexible to ensure all orders are met, e.g., in the event of a breakdown occurring on the line

Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Arrow Group business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Some travel will be required. Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland
