Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with established recipes and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas, adhering to food safety regulations
• Support senior catering staff in the setup and breakdown of catering events and service areas
• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as directed by the catering team
• Assist with the serving of food and beverages to clients and guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Monitor stock levels and assist with the organisation of storage areas
• Follow all health and safety procedures and report any hazards or concerns to management
• Respond to special dietary requirements and food allergies with attention and care
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the catering operation through teamwork and flexibility

• Experience in event catering or banqueting services
