Job summary

Michael Murphy & Co is seeking a Store Manager for one of our Irish home furnishings stores. You will lead the sales team to maximize store growth, create a positive customer experience, and uphold our customer service standards.

The role emphasizes coaching the sales team, driving sales, and maintaining brand presentation while delivering an inspirational and productive store culture. Salary is circa €60k OTE per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of furniture retail sales experience (beneficial)
• 2+ years’ prior experience managing a professional sales team (beneficial)
• Store opening experience would be beneficial
• Flexible retail schedule including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills and Excel proficiency

• Collaborate with senior leadership to meet sales goals
• Coordinate staff rostering to match staffing needs
• Respond professionally to escalated customer inquiries and complaints
• Maintain visual presentation and organize floor moves
