Job summary

Murphy Home in Wexford Town, Co. Wexford, is seeking a vibrant Sales Executive to join our leading Irish family-owned furniture retailer. You will deliver an exceptional in-store experience and help drive store sales.

The role offers an OTE circa €40K+ with a friendly team, staff discounts, and opportunities to grow within the family-run business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail sales in a commission-driven environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong IT skills and a willingness to learn new sales software program's.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

The Sales Executive is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience for every customer resulting in increased store sales and customer loyalty.

• Achieve weekly sales targets and be knowledgeable on all store promotions and campaigns.
• Learn and keep updated on all of the company’s products and service.
• Contact potential and existing customers by phone or email and provide customers with sale quotes.
• Maintain a good relationship with every customer by providing support, information and guidance.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the store looks presentable at all times.
