Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a senior fund reporting professional to lead day-to-day delivery of investment fund financial reporting engagements. You will review statements, manage project plans, and coach team members in applying US GAAP, IFRS, and Lux GAAP.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality client outcomes while embedding AI-enabled workflows with proper oversight. The ideal candidate brings 4–5 years of leadership experience in investment fund reporting, strong Excel skills,

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA or IFAC equivalent) with solid fund financial reporting experience.
• 4–5 years leading teams and coordinating investment fund reporting for 1–2 years.
• Strong ability to review financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office with ability to manage deadlines.
• Knowledge of AI risks, data privacy and responsible-use requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of fund reporting engagements and allocate work across team members.
• Review financial statements, disclosures and supporting schedules for completeness and consistency.
• Manage project plans, deadlines, trackers and client/auditor communications.
• Coach team on fund reporting requirements, review standards and escalation paths.
• Embed AI use cases into recurring workflows with proper human review before release.
• Build strong relationships with client representatives and participate in related engagements.
