Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a senior fund reporting professional to lead investment fund financial reporting engagements, reviews and remediation projects. You will manage client relationships with auditors and administrators, review complex statements under US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP, and lead AI and automation initiatives across the reporting lifecycle, developing team capability through coaching.

The role requires 6–8 years in fund reporting, ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification, and strong Excel

Qualifications

6–8 years of experience in investment fund financial reporting with team leadership.
Deep knowledge of fund reporting with US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP.
Strong Excel and Office skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to assess AI use cases and manage related risks without compromising reporting quality.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of investment fund reporting clients with accountability for quality, resourcing, timelines, budgets and client delivery.
Review financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules and audit packs for completeness and consistency.
Lead client, auditor and administrator relationships and resolve significant reporting issues.
Develop team capability through coaching, technical training and succession planning.
Lead AI and automation initiatives across the reporting lifecycle and define controlled AI use.
